Our Partners
Thank you!
This project would not have been possible without the generous contributions of many local businesses and organizations. We are grateful to our partners, as well as all the individual donors and volunteers who continue to dedicate their time and effort to support the healthcare workers on the front lines.
Children Helping Children Intl (San Diego, CA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to involve American children in helping underprivileged children around the world. When the urgent need for PPE production arose, CHCI quickly stepped up by initiating a fundraising campaign and volunteering in day-to-day operations to help drive the project forward.
Custom Engineering Plastics (San Diego, CA) is a leader in the southwestern US in plastic injection molding of short to medium run production parts. In addition to generously manufacturing and donating over 50,000 face shield frames, CEP was instrumental in bringing on board other shops and material suppliers. CEP continues to manufacture frames for the project today.
Baird Cad/Cam Service (Oceanside, CA) is a tool room/machine shop that produces high quality plastic injection molds, fixtures, prototypes and machined parts. They graciously built and donated the tool used to manufacture the face shield frames.
Modified Plastics (Santa Ana, CA), a developer of custom compounded and engineered polymers and a material supplier, donated 250 pounds of material that allowed us to manufacture 5100 plastic face shield frames.
Office Depot Store #814 (San Diego, CA) donated 2000 plastic sheets used to make the face shields.
